The Story

Egrets work the lagoon's seawalls and dock edges on foot, stepping stone to stone in full white plumage - a daily constant along the Lake Avenue shore. The sun arch behind the bird is the stage the seawall already provides.

The Making

Laid out in Figma on an artboard grid - sun arch, fronds, and Bauhaus color blocks positioned by the grid rather than by eye.
Vector-cleaned in Illustrator, the egret drawn as a single silhouette with interior detail lines.
Color graded in Photoshop.
