LDH-P041 · modernist flat illustration
West Palm, squared.
Geometric collage: roseate spoonbill, palm frond over sunset and waves, concentric circles, monstera leaf. "West Palm Beach / Florida" lettered in. Modernist flat.
From the eastbound lane of the Lake Worth Bridge, the view compresses into flat shapes for a few seconds: a roseate spoonbill crossing low over green water, sun behind a palm frond, the far shore reduced to bands of color. The crossing takes under a minute. The composition holds that minute still.
Layout blocked in Figma on a 12-unit grid, then rebuilt as flat vector color in Illustrator - spoonbill, frond, and sun rings as concentric shapes with no gradients inside the forms.
Lettering in a condensed grotesque, all caps, tracked +40.
