LDH-P093 · minimal geometry
Leading the stripes home.
Vertical retro stripes in cream, gold, orange, coral, teal, and navy, with a large black semicircle entering from the left. Minimal geometry.
Late afternoon before a storm, the sky over the lagoon arranges its colors in tight vertical ranks while one black curve of cloud shoulders in from the west. Hurricane-season skies spend their whole drama budget nightly. Typesetters call the space between lines of type leading, and measure it precisely; these stripes run tight, and the black curve is the heaviest mark in the field.
Stripe field set in Illustrator with column spacing treated as type leading - even, measured, unbroken.
The black semicircle placed as a single hard shape entering from the left margin.
Whole field lightly distressed in Photoshop; print-prepped at 300 dpi.Palette
