Arranged. Unlike my desk.
Three large monstera leaves in a black-and-cream wavy-striped vase on a pink surface against a mustard wall. Distressed still life.
Three monstera leaves in a striped vase hold a composition against any wall - leaves fanned, stripes answering, one warm wall behind. Lake shore cottages run on the same formula: one dramatic plant, one graphic object, one warm color field. No committee is involved.
Still life treated in Photoshop with a distressed, soft-focus finish, then the wavy-stripe vase and leaf shapes redrawn in Illustrator so the arrangement reads crisp at print size.
Palette of five colors. The mustard field held flat with no gradient.
