Flamingo Duotone

Pink is primary here.

Two coral-pink flamingos among dark palm fronds on a pink ground. "Palm Beach / County" lettered in. Vintage letterpress poster.

The Story

Lake Worth Beach has no resident flamingo flock; the lagoon wading birds are herons, egrets, ibis, and roseate spoonbills. The flamingo persists anyway - on motel signs, mailboxes, and garden ornaments from Parrot Cove to Lantana. At six, pier light turns the same pink.

The Making

  • Color built in Photoshop as a strict duotone - one pink range mapped from highlights to shadows, fronds held in a deep green-black second pass, feather detail retained in the darker values only.
  • Distress applied with a screen-print grain layer.
  • Lettering finished in Illustrator and set in the lower third.

Every print comes with its story card.

Own this print? Pin where it lives.

Every print made here heads out into the world: a hallway in Ohio, a kitchen in Oregon, a desk somewhere cold. If this one landed with you, drop a pin and put your town on the map.

It’s printed next to the QR code on the story card that came with your print.

City level only. Your pin shows the town, never your address.
